I still have my old series 3 but it is at least 10 years old and I have not other means of shaving so it iis now my backup. The new one has much longer battery life too.
Best shaving tool I’ve ever owned. I primarily use the sideburn trimmer To take my beard down to stubble and rarely do a complete shave. As I haven’t been to a barber in 15 years it covers all my hair trimming necessities as well
Hard to find a Series 3 with beard trimmer; I was so glad to find one here. This is my third Series 3. If batteries were user replaceable I would probably still be on my first.
This razor replaces one that I dropped and badly damaged. I was satisfied with my old one and satisfied with the replacement. I have been in the Braun family for a number of years.
I have tried several electric razors. This is the first one that I can actually say givEs me a close shave. Needless to say I am very well pleased with it.
I have only had it a few weeks but I like everything so far. It's very quiet and it shaves very close. Also, the trimmer works great. The last shaver I had never worked using the trimmer. I would encourage anyone to try this shaver. I would also purchase it from Factory Outlet for a good price and quick delivery.
Fairly simple and economical Braun shaver with trimmer (important feature). Electrical charge is good for about one week (I have a dense beard, one shave is a bit of work). Shaving is good, I only shave dry and cannot comment on shaving wet. Pay attention when activating the trimmer, this is what broke on my previous Braun shaver.
Overall, excellent product. I'd had a Braun shaver series 3 before and the trimming part broke off long ago. Only disappointed not to get the feature that adjusts the shaving foil. The addition of the center part between the foils seems to have made up for that.
I learned how badly my old shaver was after using this. The sideburn trimmer doesn't seem to be as ergonomically shaped as others I've used, but does a good job. One other complaint is that the shaver can't be used when plugged in. When the batteries fail or run low, with my old shaver, I could still use it while charging. In fact, after my batteries had completely died, I could still use the shaver.
I have yet to find an electric shaver that functions anywhere near as well as a razor blade. I've even tried used two electric shavers, one after the other, and still gets poor results - and I don't have a tough beard. The only good feature is the trimmer. This will be my last buy.
Have to go over skin surface five or six times (yes I know how to use an electric razor) and even then there are stubbles (and I even tried pre-electric shave). Have to finish off with a SAFETY RAZOR!
