Love it. I've used Braun shavers for over 25 years and was pleased with them all. But this is by far the smoothest closest shave I have ever had. Would recommend to everyone. Bill
I had a 7865cc series 7 for years and was very happy with it but after a broken part I decided to move to the 9290cc series 9. A great improvement. One thing I really like is that it is fairly quite compared to the 7865 (and the Clean&Charge Station is also very quite). The shave is really a lot better. So far cannot find anything I do not like about the 9290.
I really appreciate the quality shave I receive. It’s close, comfortable and leaves a clean shave. The charger/cleaner station is convenient and removing the head to brush away hairs is easy to do.
This is my 2nd Braun shaver with a clean & charge station. I can personally attest that these razors last longer with the station; my 1st one lasted almost TEN years! As terrific as my 1st shaver was, this new one, with all the advancements in technology, is beyond description, other than to say that my shaving experience is smooth as SILK!!! After my 1st shave, my neighbor, who is beyond stoic (and sports a beard), commented that my skin looked invigorated and "baby soft & smooth". So all the consumer comments online that claim that electric shavers had not changed substantially in decades can go forth and fornicate themselves, because these Series 9 shavers are simply BRILLIANT! It goes without saying that you will look forward to shaving again (I keep dreaming of it). Congratulations to Braun, especially the design and engineering teams, because they have left other shaver companies in the dust of the 20th century, and their Model T's, lol...
I have used a blade since I started shaving. Always got a nice smooth shave. In 2002, I was placed on a blood thinner and after several shaving cuts that bleeding was hard to stop, I switched to a rotary razor. Quality of shave was so-so. For special events I resorted to my old blade razor. After 16 years I decided to replace my rotary razor and, after reading advertising and reviews, I decided to try a Braun 9290. WOW! What a shave. If my blade was a 10, the 9290 is a 9.8 on a scale of 10.Very happy.
good shave. I have a tough beard so I wear out the blades very very quickly. only had this shaver a month but feels like the shaver handles the beard easily.
I have had this shaver for a little over a week now. I have used a Norelco Architect for over eight years (two separate models about four years each) and became really unhappy when I ordered a new replacement head and discovered it shaved no better than my old year and one half year old head. While shaving one evening, two weeks ago, my skin was a little moist and the friction of my skin against the shaver head pulled the top cover off the head and head. Cover and whisker cuttings fell all over the floor.: a real mess. To say the least, that was the last time I used the Norelco! I actually enjoy using my new Braun and can't get over what a fantastic job the cleaner does. When I go to use my Braun, the cutting head is clean enough to be right out of the box and smells very good to boot. It is a pleasure to use this instrument on a daily basis. I highly recommend this product.....I don't feel you can do any better.
I am very disappointed with this Razor. When you pay this much for a razor you expect quality! It won’t even give me a decent shave at all! I use it then bring out my old Norelco to get me close and clean! Braun razors suck!
